UGC Publisher ("the App") is a Shopify app that generates AI product images and publishes products to the merchant's store. This policy describes what data we process and how.

Data we process

• Store data: myshopify domain, Shopify API access token (to create products and upload images), and the app configuration.
• Content you create: product drafts, prompts, "actors" and generated/uploaded images.
• We do NOT collect personal data of your end customers.

AI image generation

Prompts and reference images are sent to the AI provider (Google Gemini) to generate images. We do not use them to train models.

Model (likeness) photos

If you create a "model", the reference photos you upload may contain images of a person. We process these photos only to generate the images you request, and store them while the model exists. You are responsible for having that person's consent (see our Terms). You can delete a model and its photos at any time from the App.

Storage and retention

Data is kept while the App is installed. On uninstall, tokens are invalidated; store data is deleted within the timeframe of Shopify's shop/redact webhook (48h).

Compliance webhooks (GDPR)

We handle customers/data_request, customers/redact and shop/redact. Since we don't store end-customer data, customer requests don't return personal data.
